The management has changed 3 times since we have lived here and no one gives a crap about the apartments. The rent is cheap, but there is good reason why. The apartments are dark seeing as there are no windows. The apartments are old and need serious attention. Our stove is from the seventies and the broiler has been broken for the 2 years we have lived here. Maintentance requests take a month to be fixed, if they are fixed at all. We had a leak in the bathroom sink that they "fixed". They ended up moving the leak from the faucet to the pipe so that everything under the sink got ruined. Now the counter is all rotted underneath and they will not replace it. The laundry facilties onsite are always broken and dirty. The parking lot is not big enough, hard to manevur through, and is full of potholes. The pool is often dirty.

This is a very old comment (2003). You should see the place now. Now known simply as 830 East Park Avenue. Under new management since August of 2006, the renovations of the community have been completed, including a brand new laundry facility with new machines. The parking lot was the final step of the renovations and has been completely repaved. The maintenance issues are addressed promplty when received from the residents. The rental rates are quite reasonable considering the location and huge apartments. (The pool was closed as part of the renovation)
