The buildings are OLD and the AC systems are the original ones that were installed in the 70's, which means utility bills are high. The management doesn't care about repairs or the upkeep. I have had problems with mold damage. The only advantages are the location being close to malls/downtown, and the complex is relatively quiet.

This is a very old remark (2004) and the community now known as 830 East Park Avenue has been completely renovated and under new management. All the mold issues have been resolved as well as roof repairs. Many of the apartments now have newer AC units as needed. Utility bills are not so high. The prices are still reasonable - $635 for 1 bedroom (880 SF) and $795 for 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath (1240 SF). You're right the location is great and the new manager keeps the community quiet.
