For those of you whom have an interest in Ashford Club, let's start at the top with both the Manager and Owner. For those of you whom have an interest in Ashford Club, let's start at the top with both the Manager and Owner.
Both Connie and Marvin have always been attentive to our needs as a guest, and never have we had to wait or ask twice for any maintenance request or otherwise.
In fact, speaking with both Connie and Marvin regularly I know personally that he has and continues to spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own capital to improve the facilities not just outside, inside as well. He personally worked with the City to connect Ashford to various parks which compliment his guest s way of life. Our A/C unit has *never* failed to adequately heat or cool at any time of the year. In fact, we leased a corporate unit at Plantations at Pine Lake and the units were so old our utility invoices were always $400-$500 a month in the summer At Ashford Club, $95-120.00 and that s with us keeping the unit at a constant 69 degree s. Now let s talk about the A/C ductwork Ashford Club probably care more about its tenants than any other complex i ve been a guest of. They acquired a system to clean the ductwork annually, and by doing so my indoor allergy related issues have almost been non-existent.
If you actually take the time to drive out to Ashford Club and take a look at the property, you will truly be amazed at the attention to detail. Everything from nature-oriented bird-houses to swings available for use on a nice breezy summer day. That s just the beginning
Not only do the wonderful folks at Ashford Club actually care about their guests, they care about the surrounding community as well. If you take a peek immediately adjacent to the property, Ashford Club donated the funding and the land for a conservation park and walk-way. The Boy Scouts of America are invited to have their weekly meetings and campfires right behind the complex.
The "Ashford Club" broadband initiative to build the fastest internet in town, actually the Panhandle of Florida (possibly even nation-wide) at their complex is an ongoing project and soon no other residential service provider in the area will be able to compete.
The constant ongoing renovations and additions are always a plus. If you see a complaint about Ashford Club, I d have to say based upon my experience there was probably something wrong with the guest and not the complex. I would be proud to own and/or manage Ashford Club, given the opportunity and desire.
Should we ever have to relocate (to another city that is, cause we sure wouldn't leave Ashford Club if we stay in Tallahassee), it would be because of the economy and Ashford Club would most definitely be the benchmark we would use for any comparison.
Thank You ASHFORD CLUB AND STAFF for all that you do.

i am looking to rent a place in Tallahassee while relocating and it is very annoying and a waste of time to read reviews that are obviously prompted by management. They are just obvious. I visited your beautiful property but am really turned off by this kind of stuff. My recommendation: take criticism and use it to your advantage by turning it into something great.

Good Morning Mr. /Ms. Anonymous,
While taking in some of your constructive criticism and digesting such I was able to come up with the following:
Every situation is different, no matter whom you are. Not to discredit your post but for someone to have taken the time to respond to this post specifically and anonymously instead of the thousands of other posts alike tells me this was potentially targeted towards Ashford Club and not "true to the statement made". It also seems as though there's quite a bit of manipulation ongoing with the negative posts as well considering the NO-SMOKING policy being implemented. (Which on a side note I think is GREAT!)
We as American's have the right to free speech. That's also part of whom we are and our legacy. I'd encourage you to take a look around at some other apartment complexes and compare notes. Compare these reviews to reality and then lets come back to chat, or better yet take a look at history...Ashford Club is almost always at 100% occupancy, yet other complexes are struggling to find tenants. I ask myself, why? An intelligent person would be able to answer that question without any further diagnosis.
On another note, I just moved my Accountant to Ashford Club very recently from a place called Plantations at Pine Lake here in Tallahassee. I assure you they have availability and are reasonably priced. Before you move in though, I would ask to see apartment 904. Take a glance at the baseboards in the master bedroom, master bathroom, master closet, underneath the air handler, water heater, the space in-between the 2nd floor unit and unit 904. Once finished reviewing go ahead and sign the lease. When you??????re done toying around review your options and if Ashford Club comes up I would suggest you take a chance. If not, I assure you the hospitality and service you would expect just won't be there anywhere else (at least in the Tallahassee Market).
Now let's get to the heart of your post. I pay nearly twice as much for my lease here at Ashford Club than any other resident, for half the space of a two bedroom....I assure you. My first post originated from my personal experiences at Ashford Club and was not induced by management as your statement would slam. The staff here is kind, funny and extremely helpful. I can't say that balls don't get dropped because we are all human and rest assured I drop the ball on projects all of the time, but I??????ve never had such an experience from Ashford Club personally. Even if Ashford is not a place for you- I would recommend you come and take a glance at their amenities, staff and best of all the tenants (which includes ME!!!).
So all that to say- If you are looking for true review's come down to your apartment complex of choice and pick ten doors. Knock on them and ask them what they "really" think. Then you can make a decision on where you will live for the next year or so. Better yet- Come knock on my door, E-109!
(The link below is the place where a friend was living before moving to Ashford...Again I would suggest you go visit, cause I assure you they are probably not going to resolve any of these issues before the next tenant takes the plunge which could be you!)

Now last but not least- Assumptions are the key to all ??????Screw Ups??????, and your statement was an assumption and not factual. Now being a human or if you have a huge ego your going to rebut my statement, but before your do ask yourself what FACTS you had prior to posting your four or five sentence statement ? Since you didn??????t come talk to me I would have to assume that any facts you did obtain were false in nature.
Have a great day!
