Much like a comment made by a potential resident at Arbor View (who also owns Azalea Place), our leasing agent led us to believe our $200 "wait in line" fee would be refunded if we did not sign a lease.

Had we read the fine print right then and there, we'd have discovered the leasing agent was wrong! You have only 72 hours from the moment you agree to pay $200 to wait in line. The upper management, however, simply believes I should have read the fine print myself and not trusted her own employee.

The incident has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. As for now, my husband and I are cutting our losses and rejoicing in the fact that we won't deal with management inconsistencies as residents at our new apartment home.
