Berkshire has the most closet space of any apartments this close to FSU. You can't beat the square footage! The coolest aspect is in the 3 bd apartments; there's a circular den! Its between two bus routes that go to FSU. The management and maintenance guys are very nice and respond within a day or two. Parking is also great. Residents are mostly college students, so it can get a little niosey late into the night on weekends. The grounds are nicer than most in-town apartment complexes, there are actually trees and grass! They don't allow pets, but my roommate and I have had a cat for the past year, and no one has said anything.
The biggest problem is the plumbing. I've never had a problem in the apartment, but the water gets shut off about once a month, usually between the hours of 10am and 5pm. There's never any warning beyong putting up notes on the door the day of the water-outage. Also, my roommate has had her fancy car radio stolen twice when she's parked in the more vacant south side of the complex.
