Berkshire Manor offers very nice apartments for an extremely affordable price. The floor plans are well laid out and offer lots of space. HOWEVER, the management is a whole other story. They are nice but your voices and complaints fall on deaf ears. Our utility bill used to be 250-300.00 a month because of our very very OLD AC unit. Most times we were paying utilities for a unit that never gave us cold air. I was never there so technically my roomate was the only one utilizing the electricity! Water comes with the apartment and NO we did not have a washer/dryer nor did we use the dishwasher. We lived in one of the older units though. I'm sure the newly renovated apartments weren't as much of a hassle as ours was. For the water to be free it sure gets turned off a lot. Parking was OK although my roomates radio was stolen from her car which was parked DIRECTLY in front of our window. The overall environment is really nice. If you're willing to take a chance on the management, I'd say go for it.
