Umm, I think the recent attempted robbery AND MURDER in the parking lot of Berskshire Manor speaks for itself (see link below). This place is horrible on so many levels.

In my two year stay, I experienced tons of problems. Most of them stemmed from untimely responses from management about maintenance problems, a general level of incompetence in said management, loud, rude, and inconsiderate neighbors, tons of sketchy people in the parking lots at all hours of the day and night, etc.

Besides all of that, I when I moved this past fall they actually locked me out of my apartment BEFORE my move-out date. I complained to the manager, and only after I demanded at the point of tears that I get a refund for the rent I'd paid for the days I was LOCKED OUT OF MY APARTMENT, the manager's manager agreed. When I called to follow up on getting the money, Berkshire denied knowledge of the incident and refused to pay me. I'm still mad about this and I think that the management of these apartments is not only completely incompetent but unethical as well. They know that they can take advantage of students and take every opportunity to do so.
