How fake...

That is funny, I am about 90% positive that last review was written by a boardwalk employee...this was told to me by another employee by the way, but let us just set that aside...
I was employed by boardwalk over the past two years and I quit because they could not keep a steady management team...23 different employees and 3 management changes over a 1 year period isn't a good history. Anyways, I will illustrate a very simple "pros and cons" list that may help you in your decision to move to boardwalk...Just read the whole thing...
PROS: They are spacious apartments and bedrooms with tasteful furniture. The setup is nice with the tile floors and glass tables making cleanup a breeze for the most part. A majority of the residents are good natured and don't cause too much havoc around the neighborhood. The pool parties are pretty cool too, but Boardwalk charges too much money to enter them. A couple break ins and robberies happened during the summer and now they have police officers patrol at night for a litle extra safety. That about sums up the pros...
CONS: The cons are a different story...There, in all honesty, may be too many to count...The Management is terrible. They are only after money and will do everything in their power to get it. Take for instance a simple dining room chair...They get all of their furniture from ASHLEY furniture...the chair from ASHLEY costs $14 for boardwalk because they buy them in bulk...if for some reason the cushion gets damaged or dirty, BWalk replaces the chair and you are charged $60 for it...not too fair if you ask me...We were promised a 24 hour clubhouse and computer facility...it closes at 11:30...The boardwalk staff will belittle you to your face and cause unnecessary drama between tenants and management.
Parking is the worst in Tallahassee...13 visitor spots for 940 residents...The walls are thin and you can hear everything that goes on around and above you...if your upstairs neighbors are girls, get ready to hear high heels on tile...not a fun sound at 3am when everyone gets home from the bars...
Maintenace is usually late when arriving to open your door or fix something...I had $200 worth of food in my fridge and it stopped working...I called maintenace at noon and they were supposed to be there within 30 mins...They showed up the next day and most of my food was warm and ruined
There have been a few(not many) robberies...Three girls that I know were held at gunpoint by two guys for their purses at their front doors...this happened 3 times during the summer...No lie...Boardwalk doesn't really like to put info like this out there but people need to know.
This is not a review to bash boardwalk in any way...just to tell the world that when you are promised luxury, you should at least get something luxurious out of the deal and boardwalk (after two years) never delivered...ever...
By the way, there is a brand new apartment complex next door to Boardwalk called West 10...It is spacious and most of Boardwalks early management team (the good people) are working over there in an attempt to push out Boardwalk. The rent is actually $10 cheaper a month and the place is much better quality of living than boardwalk...They are pretty successful and it is a great place to live and I am going by what 20-30 people told me...Thank you for your time and hopefully, this reveiew will help you on your decision...
