My home in a dark noisy hallway:

Campus Lodge couldn't be run worse.

I found out yesterday that they lied to me about my move out date. I, of course, have not planned to renew my lease since my second month here. My mother, roommates and myself were all stunned to hear that August 7th was never really our move out date, as they had informed us when we signed our lease. It is July 31.

Maintenance has failed magnificently at responding to problems in the apartment. At this point, there s not even enough time to fix half of the things wrong in this apartment before we leave and new tenants move in.

The air conditioning cannot get to the third bedroom due to poor construction design and the problem cannot be fixed. That is the room I started in. When I developed a medical problem that required bed rest and hydration, the manager (Tiffany Lee) told me that there was no way that she could help and that it really wasn t her problem. She refused to move me to a different bedroom in the same apartment, and only did so when I brought her a note from the emergency room stating that dehydration had led to more complications.

The pool is very large, but not always clean. One day I went to go swim only to find the pool filled with playing cards, cigarettes, beer, beer bottles, beer cans, bits of Styrofoam, empty and full 2-liter bottles, and many other things.

I have had to call the police several times due to noise and violence. My community assistant who lived below me (before she quit because of Tiffany Lee) once found bullet casings in front of her door from the night before when people were firing off guns. There are two car alarms going off now, as I m writing this review.

Towing is definitely a problem. They tow often and sometimes for no reason. Not to mention the fact that they charge twice what other companies do.

Last week a K-9 police squad tracked a suspected robber to the apartment above mine.

I loathe Campus Lodge. I hate dealing with these things when I wouldn t have to at other apartment complexes.

The management has insulted me to my face. Noise is a VERY big problem. Trash is everywhere. Thing break often and things are broken into often. They let themselves into my apartment without asking even though they said they wouldn t. Please do not subject yourselves to Campus Lodge.

Most of what this person wrote is true for me. The new tenants that live above me are Cavemen, they never sleep and have gatherings all the time. They run around the apt and make crazy noise at 3 AM. Maintenance staff is horrible. I have been requesting for someone to come and fix a hole by my toilet bowl; after weeks of constant requests they decided to send someone in. He told me that it's most likely a termite problem, he's going to contact his superviser and they'll be back to fix it. Yeah right! It is now about 4 months later and the hole is still there. I wouldn't care for the hole if there weren't ants coming out of it.Ants are crawling on my bed, it's ridiculus. So now I'm paying rent to live with ants. It's ok cause my lease is almost over and i'm trying my best not to return here in the fall. Think Twice Before Signing Your Lease Here.
