For the first three days, after their designated "move-in day", our apartment had a broken air conditioner. Inside the thermostat read between 90 and 95 degrees, even at night. Right now it has broken again and has been like this for a few days. The whole building had roaches and other bugs so badly that one roommate was able to get herself moved out (but only to another unit) the first week. I seriously doubt that it was cleaned professionally or at all. It is dank and brown. I don't want to think about the bacteria and mold probably living here, too.

PARKED IN THE PARKING lot, my car was hit, pushed into another car, and almost totaled (total cost to me and the other car's owner was $11,000 ). The week after it was repaired someone else hit it AGAIN in the parking lot and scraped paint on the back. From the apartment my digital camera was stolen along with some of my roommate's DVDs.

It is impossible to talk to management, as you can only relay messages back and forth through the college kids at the office. I had a problem with someone staying in my apartment (entirely my fault, this I admit) and in order to get her out I had to pay $100 to change two locks (not electronic locks, there is no way it cost that much!). When I tried to explain the situation, apologetically, management told the girl at the front office to tell me that they would sue me for an additional year's lease (over $5,000) if the person did not leave - NOT professional.

All the amenities are lies as well. Just tour the dirty, outdated gym. Absolutely do not live here. You will see how long a year can be.
