When I moved in, the place was not clean. It smelled like rabit or some other furry rodent was residing in the living room for quite some time. I cleaned forever and the place was still a mess. When we got there, there were lots of bugs. Now those bugs are gone, but we have silverfish! The management was crappy at first, but it did get better. However, it was more of a two-faced thing, they would ask if everything is ok and working, and when you told them what was wrong, they'd say they'd be right on it, and it still wouldn't get fixed. Our water heater was broken, they didn't want to replace it, they "fixed" it, but only after having water leak into the hallway and bedrooms for weeks, lots of mold and such... We had someone look at our AC at least 5 times, they said it was working fine. It is HOT in my room. The vents are small and don't put air into the rooms. It'll be summer soon, and I'm dying in spring. AC and heating units are old, they refuse to replace because they say they are working. We stopped using our AC after not getting any cooling and $300 electric bills. Now our bill is about half that- without using any AC!!! Insulation is horrible. Very cold in winter, and the heater is horrible for someone with allergies. If you live here, PLAN ON USING FANS!!! And lots of them! Not bad for the price, but I don't want to deal with this again. There is a lot of space, large rooms, large living area. Small kitchen. There is a laundry facility, and washer/dryer hookups out back of the unites. Pretty quiet, there is a 24/7 cop, but I've never seen the cop do anything, and the cop car never moves. Pet friendly. Dogs pay $10 rent and there is a deposit. Pleanty of parking, 5 min drive to campus, on bus routes. You get what you pay for, it's not the best place you could live, but certainly better than many others.
