The apartment complex does nothing to keep its residents from letting their dogs run off lead. As a result, we often ended up dodging dogs in the parking lot on our way to work (yes, it's that bad). I've seen several dog fights and there is dog crap EVERYWHERE. It's disgusting!

They let any breed in here, so if you have a small dog, you do NOT want to come here.

The undergrads are really noisy.

Maintence can be slow. They'll make the necessary repairs if you bug them enough.

The amount of space you get for your money is good, but some of the units are falling apart.

I've NEVER had to dodge dogs while driving through to my complex. And I've been here 3 years! And again, I've never seen dog fights. What you describe is NOT the casa cordoba I've seen or lived at. I do agree with the "any breeds allowed in here" comment. And yes, maintenace is slow and the units are old.

There's dog crap on our back porch four times. We don't own a dog. I haven't seen dog fight(s) like the op has, but I did see an off lead pit go after a spaniel looking dog. One dog fight is too many. I have seen dogs in the parking lot, but I can only speak for my section (I live on the side near Berk). There are a lot of off lead dogs here. I bet the commenter above me is part of the problem. It seems like only a handful of people keep their dogs on a leash. Little dogs, big dogs, - they're all wandering around here. There is dog ---- everywhere. There are signs up about fines, so maybe managment is cracking down? I wish I could break my lease.

I totally agree! I had two pitbulls break through my screen door to try and kill my cats once. Then it took about six months to get a new screen door!

Billy must be blind. There are off-lead dogs everywhere and some of them are aggressive. It would be nice to have a cook out on my back porch without someone else's dog showing up.

There are dogs here that shouldn't be here. The maintenance man told me he is alone, everyone else quit. He said he spends all of his time picking up trash, passing out fines for trash and dog poop, and dogs off of the leash. And he said he is finding out where the people live who have the wrong breeds so they can get a letter. He said after he does all this that there is no time left to do anything else such as service requests.

This is 100% correct. This complex lets people with aggressive dogs stay here. My SO and I have complained numerous times about one dog owners, who's dogs are ALWAYS off lead, and have tried to bite us. The kid and his dogs are still here - we just saw one running around this morning.
