Problems with Chapel Terrace are as follows...
The manager does not care whatsoever about your problems, and most of the time he isnt in his office when hes supposed to be. My air conditioner was broken ALL SUMMER!!! I got it fixed only by flagging down an A/C man that was working on the other side of the conplex. We had a DJ living next door who who practice and have very loud parties midweek, we called the cops on them 3 times and complained to the manager...but they never even got a nasty note much less an eviction. The pipe under my bathtup burst covering my apartment in two inches of standing water...after a day they came out and mopped up most of it leaving the carpet smushy and wet, two days later they sent out a carpet cleaner who just put out a large fan to dry it...
One day I found a note that I fallen off our neighbors door and blown over near my apartment door. The note told them that their rent was past due, and the amount listed was at least $50 cheaper than mine! We had the exact same apartment!
When I lived there the windows were so old that a child could have lifted them open to break in, however they did replace them a month before our lease was up.
When our lease was up we were to pay Angel Carpet Cleaning $35 to clean the carpets which we did, but when we got back the letter with our deposit they took $65 out for carpet cleaning...'!' WTF'!'
Please Dont live there!!! For the love of god! If you want a nice apartment in Tally look further away from FSU, I recommed Windsor Woods or any other rental properties owned by Talcor.
