I don't know where to start with this crap hole.

We rented here for two reasons: The price and the location.

Upon moving in we asked for a first floor apt with the furniture package that we purchased. We ended up on a second floor apt with no furniture. This was a sign of things to come.

I don't know where to start. After getting the wrong apartment stuff fixed it didn't take long to figure out how awful this place was. Here is a list of just a few.

1) Paper thin walls-- I thought the dorms were bad; I could hear every word my upstairs neighbors had while they were having sex along with the usual wall banging, screaming, and moaning.. I could here when they went to the bathroom, when there cell phone rang and when there alarm clock went off. I'm convinced that the apartment is not up to code.
2) Sorry ass leasing office-- Of course the middle of the year came and the traditional new management scheme was played out. Oh we are so sorry is there anything else I can do. I m the new manager blah blah blah. It doesn't matter who it is they are all awful.
3) Maintenance calls don't matter. They never come, so if you have an emergency your SOL.
4) Utilities---- We asked how much a typical utility bill was before we moved in and they informed us between 70 and 100 when you have the air on. When we got our first utility bill we saw that not only was it 200 dollars but we were charged 46 dollars for fire, refusal and other services before the first watt of electricity was even charged. Our bill in July was even higher then that. We are never home and don't even use the dishwasher. Just showers and AC and that s what we have to pay. Pitiful
5)No visitor parking in Chartre ridge, so if you have friends over after 12 they have to HOPE for a spot at Charter Oaks way up the road.
6) Nothing works- Ice machine, AC unit, Oven, and FIRE ALARM

These are just a few things that make this apartment complex the worst in Tallahassee. I would rather live at the shelter then this crap hole. It was the worst mistake of my life to move in here. The management is a joke and I hope I can do my part in helping other student in tally informed to not move in here.

After we paid 200 for utilities, and 50 dollars for internet we could have lived at some of the nicer places in Tally.
