Looking at the brochure, I thought I'd found a decent place to live. I was wrong! Very wrong! I lived here for a year and gladly moved out. I could have found much better! In a nutshell - 'STAY AWAY !!!!'

To start,
- the only 'nice' place is the main office.
- the amenities are worthless..
- spa and pool are always broken
- tennis courts are not kept clean
- basketball goals are broken
- the gym equiment is low quality
- very conjested parking and roads
- the appliances are from the early 80s
- no apt. activites or .apt discounts

Now, that's just for starters, here's why I moved out: After pleading w/Woodlake and parent company Royal American for 6 months to get Comcast cable and broadband (they have BigTV cable and dial-up) I decided it was time. I left phone calls, sent letters and emails and got nothing. But wait there's more! Every month or so this pest control company comes by to spray for insects. I kept a super clean apt., yet I had more than the occasional roach, fruit fly and spider. One day I happened to be home for lunch when the guy came by to spary the .apt; he stepped inside, sparyed twice behind the door and left his card. I nearly split my side I was laughing so hard!!!

Now for the ugly: I've had my car broken into, I had mold growing in my bathroom and have had a general decline in mental health (headaches, colds, fatigue). As a matter of fact, when I signed the lease, there was a clause in there about Radon gases; when I asked about it at the time, she said "there has been no proof one way or the other."
Also, there is a small lake that looks like a cess pool, who know's how far that lake water is seeping underground....

Well, with that said, I must give credit where it is due and it does go to the groundskeepers. For the most part the lawn and garden work is excellent.

In closing, do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake I did. Stay Away.
