What a horrendous way to kick off a college career. Jacob's Landing has some pretty attractive prices but please know, you get what you pay for, and in this case, you get less. The most disgusting ghetto complex I have ever lived in. When I moved in, the whole apartment was disgustingly dirty and everything was broken. My mattress had blood on it and the management told me to flip it over. Needless to say, I slept on the floor for the few months that I was stuck there. The management changed my lease a few times without asking me or informing me but in the end it worked out because the incompetent manager forgot to sign the lease to make it legit. so I was able to move out without a major problem. The grounds are always filthy, parking is bad, it is extremely noisy, the people are rude. I think putting a gate in the front, hiring a security firm and doing background checks on residents should be a top priority for this place.
