When I moved to landmark in May of 04 I loved the place, affordable rent and nice spacious floor plans but that soon changed. The new management is HORRIBLE. The owner (I don??t want to say his name but he has a thick Caribbean accent.) is Satan. He fired the whole staff and hired his family members ...they all moved in the complex. He claimed he would make the place better but I beg to differ. When he pressure washed the outside of the apartment, water flooded a nice part of my living room. I had a leak in the faucet of my tub he sent over some guy claiming to be maintenance (I latter found out that he was also a relative) who did something that caused water to spray all over the bathroom wall (im telling you the God honest truth)! Then after I came in and found all of my bath rugs wet and my floor covered with mud from his equipment. I see that he has broken the tile around the faucet leaving a hole in my shower wall...well at least the leak stopped. Flash forward a month and my garbage disposal stopped working I put in about 3 work orders before I got any response, to my surprise The owner showed up in goulashes to fix the sink himself (I guess his nephew was busy)! I had a group of friends over and he started lecturing me about putting food in the garbage disposal.... um what are garbage disposals used for again' Everything that needs to be fixed he will fix them he will just tell you that it is your fault for them not working then threaten to charge you if it ever happens again. The apartments are older and have a bug problem the wood under my sink was rotting and mold grew in the window seals and on the walls I had to pour bleach on them.... and by the way don??t plan on getting your deposit back. I HATE LANDMARK. I know I would be apprehensive to believe comments off of the Internet but I could not, in good conscience keep quite I hope this helps you guys.

I went thru the same thing and understand. My advice to anyone considering staying at Landmark is this: Don't let the space size or the owner's smile influence your decision; Think of what you'll have to deal with for the twelve months that you're there. I currently live at Landmark and my AC and Heater has not been working and the Owner MCkenzi DOES NOT CARE
