I moved in to Landmark in July 2003 and moved out in July 2005. We LOVED the apartments and the staff we originally signed a lease with were great. The apartments are very spacious and nice for being older. THEN a new owner took over and it went to H***. I was 8 months pregnant when our air conditioner broke in MAY. We called numerous times to have this fixed and each time they came it would would break again the next day. It was 102 degrees in our apartment when I went in to labor. We finally got it fixed when my husband called yelling about how we were NOT bringing a newborn home to an apartment with no AC. The new owner got rid of the courtesy officer in a neighborhood full of college parties. When I told him I thought that was unsafe he told me he put up new lights (even though within 2 weeks the people who put them up turned them off b.c. the owner never paid the bill). He also raised our rent nearly $75 and would not take in to consideration we had been there for 2 years. He towes for anything and everything and is very rude. We moved out in mid July having paid through August and he went in to our apartment before we were fully moved out and got rid of our things then kept our deposit without ever informing us why. As long as this guy runs it (his company is Landmark Development or something like that) you could not pay me to live there.
