The apartments are about 10 years old and most apartments are no where near the quality of the model. IMy roommates and I were completely shocked when we moved in. Our blinds didn't match, a toilet was broken, the carpet was darker than in the model and had stains. Maintenance was very attentive that first week and worked very diligently to correct any problems. After that first week (after parents had left) I noticed that you often have to remind maintenance and management to fix things. We had ants within days of our moving in and it took 3 days of calling and long distance 8 am from a parent to get an exterminator here. And we still had to wait 2 more days.
Parking is adequate, but only because there are an abundant number of spaces at the back of the property. You will almost always have a space reasonably near your apartment. Visitor parking on weekends and during peak night hours can be ridiculous...and they tow so beware!
Also, there is a security guard that actually does patrol the grounds. Usually, the guard stays in his/her car, but the grounds are very protected and if you are female and coming home late, the guard will follow you to your home and make sure you get in okay.
