I've lived here for 2 years now and can't wait until my lease is up. The 1st year was ok. The maintenance guy was awful and management left us alone for the most part, but when we had a problem it took them forever to fix it. (ex: hole in the wall, mold in the air vents, plumbing, floors etc.) Also, the security was almost non-existant. You could often see the guard sitting in the clubhouse watching tv. My car was broken into TWICE IN 2 MONTHS!! I've had 4 friends stay here whose cars were broken into and had extensive damage done. Their windows were smashed, stereos were damaged and dashboards pulled out. My doorhandles were ripped off, 2 stereos were broken and my back window was shattered. When TPD came out to see my car, the officer told me that they are here atleast once a week for complaints. Our neighbors were extremely noisey during the week and management brushed us off when we voiced concern so finally I called the police. Due to poor planning, we had to live here for a 2nd year and it's been a nightmare. We have new management and 2 maintenance men now. Still, we've had to repeatedly petition the office when there is a problem with the sink or bugs. That's another thing, in the summer we get roaches. Even though I'm a clean freak, we get atleast a dozen during summer school session. Our neighbors are worse than ever this year, I'm constantly cat-called when I walk around the complex. They are loud no matter what time of day it is. You can hear people shouting across the complex from the morning through the afternoon. Right now, I'm listening to someones stereo blaring from the building next to mine. Most importantly, if I'm walking from my car to the apartment at night, I don't feel safe.
