DO NOT LIVE HERE! I rented the apartment, furnished, was supposed to get the Black leather furniture, was told it was not available. The apartment was infested with fleas, it took them 6 weeks to resolve that issue, there was a hole in the wall behind the stove where a newly born kitten was found after its incessant crying gave away its location, the hole was only fixed after threating to call the health department. The fan in the bathroom and the exhaust fan in the kithchen were so coated with grease and dust, that it was a fire hazard- I also included that in my threat in regards to calling the health dept, and that got them to fix that problem, also the AC/Heat is a health and fire hazard in numerous ways. It is true that there is not a laundry room, it is May 2004 and the laundry room still does not exist, the local mgmt claims that they cannot get the permit issued- if I was the fire marshall or codes inspector, I wouldn't issue a permit as a matter of fact I would codemn this place. I was shown one apartment and on moving day , we were given another- a bait and switch of a different sort- There are so many problems with this place from noise, maintenance (LACK OF), all sorts of illegal activity, living conditions, DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT AT THE PLAZA AND IF YOU DO, ONLY PAY BY A CHECK THAT YOU CAN PROVE THEY CASHED IF THE NEED EVER ARISES.IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, PUT IT IN WRITING AND IF NO ACTION IS DONE, CALL THE SHELTER GROUP IN ATLANTA- DO NOT LET THEM TRANSFER YOU TO THE REGIONAL MGR-DEMAND TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN ATLANTA!
