I lived here for 9 months. I was lucky with my studio, it was not as crappy as others. The whole place is decrepid and old though. Many rooms are stinky, stained, and junky. The staff is lazy and stupid. I was in the shower one time and a maintenance guy came right into my apartment to do something. I knew he was in there because my dog was barking and the man left a note on the table. The dumpsters overflow with garbage constantly. My first 2 months living there, the trash was so bad out there that maggots and bugs surrounded the dumpsters. They do not keep up with maintenance. Many if not most of the outside lights are broken. I complained about a neighbor who was never home but his alarm went off everyday and stayed on for 2 hours. The office staff lied to me when they said they would take care of it b/c that alarm went off almost the whole time I lived there. Anyways, I have more bad things to say than good basically. I did enjoy the closeness to campus and as someone said in another comment, watchout for bums, hookers, and construction workers. Do not walk around at night. Someone was killed there a while back and there has been a lot of police activity in the complex. I woke up one morning at 3am and heard screaming ouside. Look out the window and there's a cop pinning down some criminal with a gun to his head... Have fun. Price for a studio is ok I think.
