No, you do not want to live at Plaza Apartments. I lived there from August 2003 to May 2004 and was greatly mistreated. As other residents will notice paragraph nine of their lease agreement said that Plaza Apartments would pay for garbage collection. However, that was not the case. I was repeatedly charged $8.30 every month for garbage collection and when I brought this to the attention of the leasing office they lied and ignored me concerning these charges for over four months. After they realized that I would not stop complaining they offered me a $100 concession (the amount I was being overcharged due to garbage collection), but said they still felt as if they were not obligated to pay for the service of garbage collection. This was of course done so other residents, like yourselves would not rightfully be able to receive a refund. This meant that the Plaza Apartments would of had to pay out close to $20,000. In addition, the Plaza Apartments has and continues to advertise a laundry facility and club house, although as I last recall there is not one. Oh yeah, if you haven't already caught on "remodeling" to them means it ain't gonna happen.
Also, does one of your windows have a crack in it or perhaps does it not open at all. Well, both of my windows in my apartment fit into these two categories (which by the way is a violation of Florida Statutes building codes).

I am writing this primarily for current/past residents b/c I am already in the process of talking to lawyers concerning a class action suit against the complex (these attorneys told me they already have a suit going against another Tallahassee complex b/c they too lied about having a laundry facility and club house).
