So, I know apartment finding can be frustrating, old apartments, no parking, expensive apartments then you come to Polo Club. The clubhouse is nice, the pool is nice, and the model apartment they show you is nice, but hey its more to this place than you can see. First do not stay on the ground floor, the place is not insulated well so you think that there are elephants walking above you. They do not give back security deposits no matter what, don't let----- tell you they give deposit backs if your apartment is decent, thats a lie, my apartment was a model and we didn't even get a deposit back. ----- is extremely rude, not that I want my mommy to be my landlord but she's running a business you would think she would treat you like a customer instead of someone she has locked into a contract that she can treat anyway. I can give you an example of how rude and ruthless this place is, I know a girl that was in a serious accident and was not going to be able to come back to school the following semester instead of trying to sublet the apartment they said she would have to still pay for her rent. Oh rent is due on the 15th of every month, well in January the 15th was M.L. King, Jr. day, we had the day off from school all of the govt. buildings were closed so my friend did not pay her rent that day, she went the next morning at 9:00 am to pay, they charged her a $25.00 late fee. Trust me the apartments are nice but they are ruthless

I'm gonna have to disagree.----- is very professional and it is clearly written on the lease that the security deposit is non-refundable not to mention that when you go on tour with the leasing consultants that is one of the main things they have to tell you. I paid my rent on the 15th, the office wasn't closed that day AND they sent out fliers to let us know that they would be open on that day. If it wasn't for-----'s professionalism Polo Club would not look as great as it does. There is always maintenance workers on site, the place is always clean, and the staff is very professional. You have to understand that she can't be lenient with anyone because that would not be professional, if she makes an exception for one person she has to do it for everyone and then they'd be losing money. My apartment was a model apartment too and there has never been any exceptions made for me, it's just the fair way to do it.

I would not call her professional...she is extremely rude and not willing to work with you or listen to your complaints...she makes more people mad than happy.

The point is that prospective tenants should avoid this place for the reason that they are fair . . . ONLY TO THEMSELVES TO RIP OFF TENANTS! Don't be swayed by the first reply above. It is from management.
