I lived here for 9 months and the carpet was never cleaned before we moved in. It was at least 4 years old and when we moved out they charged us for the whole cost of the carpet replacement! They told us it was illegal to disclose the age of the carpet so I consulted an attorney and he told us that they have to disclose that information to us and at the most we would have to pay for the depreciated value. My friend's brother lived in the apartment before us for 3 years and the carpet was never replaced or cleaned. The bottom line was that carpets are usually replaced every five years and they were trying to put the cost on us not knowing that we knew how old the carpet was. They said it was "damaged" when it just needed to be steam cleaned and were very rude and unwilling to provide proof that we "ruined" the carpet. Also, the street lights go out every other week and it is very dark and sometimes you must park farther away after going through a gate that lets everyone in. Or air conditioning also broke four times in the hot weather and took forever to fix. Save your money!!
