I have lived in Polos for two years. In the two years I have encountered numerous maintance problems. The most major was a leak in my ac that flooded my entire bedroom floor. It took numerous calls and 2 weeks for them to even send someone to extract the water from my carpet. I had to move all furniture out of the room and sleep in my living room until problem was resolved. I about died from the mildew smell. Forget about pest control. I believe they have visited twice in the two years I have lived here. The access gate is never working. The speed bumps are horrible. If you live in the back forget it you have 5 bumps to get over. Finally, upon moving in I signed a business clause, stating NO PENALTY for early termination if due to a job transfer. I was informed today that it no longer is valid due to different management. It is costing me $2,355.11 to get out of my lease. I cant believe they do not stand by the contract I signed when I moved in. I hate having to go to the office for anything. There are a bunch of young kids working in there. The seem to always be eating carryout and messing around. I would not recommend Polos to my worst enemy. I have encountered people prowling on my neighbors patio at 2a.m. The light above my apartment has been out for 3 months. College kids live above me. I have no idea how many live in that one apartment but it seems like they are stomping back and forth all hours of the day and night. They have late nights on their balcony and I have no interest in their loud conversations of the slamming of their sliding glass door. Use your best judgement when renting here.
