I have lived in Polos on Park since August 2005. Overall, it is not too bad. The walls are thin so you here almost everything that goes on upstairs. Since I have children, that is a little disturbing. The management has been pretty good. I have not had to wait long at all for something to be fixed. They are usually there the same day or one day later. I am concerned about how many are mislead by the "gated community" line that is given when you move in. There is a gate, but it does not work alot of times. Also, all one has to do is wait for someone to open it and then drive in behind them. Or better yet, just walk along the sidewalk past the gate. There is nothing preventing that. Also, the nature trail leads right out of the complex, so anyone from the outside can just walk the nature trail and come onto the complex anytime they want. The dog poop on the grass is disgusting. I do not allow my children to walk in the grass at all because there is so much of it. Also, the computers in the business center are almost always broken. Either the internet is down or the printers are not working. I do not think I have ever been in there when they were functional. As for parking, residents are supposed to have special parking different from the visitors. But, it is not enforced. I do not know how many times I had to park by the rental office and walk with my 2 small children because someone was having a party and the visitors did not park in visitors parking. The apartment was clean and I have not had any issues with bugs since I moved in. But, I do not think they are worth the price that is charged. I would suggest that people shop around first before making a decision. There are other areas where you can pay a similar price. But, Polos is not the worst place to stay. It is a clean neighborhood and there is not a lot of crime.
