Honestly, this is THE best apartment community I've lived in since I moved to Tallahassee. I've been at Polos on Park for 2 years and I've had nothing but great experiences. Every work order I place, which has been about a handful in those couple of years, have been addressed in a timely manner. I've dealt with the management team at length and they've been pleasant and courteous. I've had 2 roommates and they both enjoyed calling Polos on Park their home. The amenities and clubhouse are well maintained and the location of the community itself is ideal. I can drive 2 minutes any direction and end up at a mall, a restaurant, shopping centers, or a movie theater. I'm a student at FSU and it literally takes me about 10 minutes, with traffic, to get to campus. I'm near everything and yet, far enough from all of the congestion near down-town and the schools. Polos on Park is perfect any which way you look at it! I've read a few reviews and I've noticed a pattern, the negative reviews are coming from residents that are acting like spoiled 10 year olds. I'm sorry but when you're complaining about things that can be easily addressed in mature fashion, but instead address them rudely and poorly, you are setting up yourself for the same kind of response. How do you expect to have people want to help you when you, yourself, continuously treat them impolitely & audaciously' Frankly, I wouldn't want to help you myself if it were me dealing with these attitudes day in and day out.

I lived at Polo's a few years ago and I, like you, enjoyed it. AT FIRST. But then I started having the same problems - Management would enter my apartment unannounced for no reason, my A/C never worked, parking rules were never inforced, there was dog poo everywhere, etc., etc. Moving out and dealing with the paper work and trying to get my deposit back was a nightmare, even though my apartment was immaculate (and it was absolutely disgusting when I moved in). The staff has always had such a high turn-over rate there that nothing gets done and no one ever cared about the renters. It's too bad, because the rent is super high and I always thought I was treated very poorly. I was not a "10-year old spoiled brat". I was mature and nice about everything, but sometimes I guess that is not enough. Enjoy your experience while you can, because when you leave I doubt you will be feeling the same as you do right now.

I was always polite with management, and they took advantage of the fact that I would politely ask when they were going to fix things, and I would wait patiently till it happened. They would say "oh we'll get someone out there soon." I lived with a broken AC for a month after I put the work order. A MONTH in 90 degree weather! They didn't fix it until I told them I would refuse to pay rent. All they care about is their money. The difference between you not wanting to help someone who is 'rude' and management not wanting to help a tenant who is rude is $960 of rent. They are not doing me favors, they are upholding a legal contract...or rather no doing so. Explain to me how I was being a spoiled brat by expecting working utilities.

I think almost 70 reviews speak for themselves. Polos is rated 2.7 out of 5, and recommended by less than a third of their renters. I live here and I have to say business doesn't seem to be going well at Polos. I count four apartments in my building of 12 that have been vacated in the past month.
