I'll start with the good, the apartment itself was not so bad. The bedrooms were spacious and the rent was reasonable if there weren't any other problems.

The bad news, there are a million other problems! First off, there are a bunch of unconsiderate agents in the office to put it in a polite manner. One day we left trash on our porch and we got a warning to remove it by 3pm or we'll get a fine. I cleaned the porch spotless and still got a fine! It was our word against theirs and of course they win.

Power bills in the Orchards cost a fortune because they are old and falling apart! It was not uncommon for us to get a utility bill of $200 during the summer or winter. My parents big house is 30 bucks less a month.

The worst thing of all, it's ghetto as hell. The crime rate was probably the highest among apartment complexes. A Wingzone Delivery guy was robbed at gunpoint, I would here gunshots every once in awhile, and some of my neighbors love to stand in the middle of the road and not move when you are trying to park. Do not live here, furthermore, if you are thinking about moving to the Tallahassee area I would not recommend it.
