Don't move here!

As mentioned in several other reviews, the apartments themselves are decent. They are spacious, and having a guest bathroom is nice. Parking isn't much of an issue, unless you get home kinda late.

The management is horribly, namely ----- (the property manager) and --- ----- (I believe she is the assistant manager). The staff has NO IDEA what is going on, and the office hours posted at the front of the clubhouse seem more like suggestions than anything else. Most of the time on the weekends, there's just a note on the door that says they're showing a unit and will be right back. That's a lie....every time. And don't expect a call back if you leave a message. As --- ----- puts it, they have "1200" tenants and can't please everyone.

I have had numerous issues, and the management is not there to help you, they just want your money. And good luck with going over their head, the management company's corporate office doesn't talk to tenants, and I know that because the property manager here told me.

The appliances are cheap, and my refrigerator leaks about a quart of water per week onto the kitchen floor. I have told the front office about this several times... it has been 5 months and I am still soaking water up every day.The carpet is cheap and dirty, and nearly impossible to clean, even with a steam cleaner. The downstairs bedroom is not vented properly for AC or heat. In the upstairs bedrooms, there are vents above the doors so that air can circulate through the house, but no such vent in the downstairs bedroom. The manager told me, "well, leave your bedroom door open." Thanks, that's a huge help.

There is dog crap everywhere. Tenants are supposed to pick up after their dogs, but no one does.

I lived here two years ago and never had an issue. The Preserve switched to a new management company this year and it has been horrible. Stay away!

i agree. i used to live at the preserve and the management there is horrible. furthermore, as above mentioned, "they (do) just want your money" in addition, these apartments are extremely unsafe. every year there are very many burgularies and home invasions. the backdoor is very easy to break in, being that all a criminal has to do is easily break a small square in the window in the back door, reach in, and voila, the door opens and criminals are free to enter the premises and take what they want. also, be weary of "positive" ratings of this complex, as a lot of the staff are paid to go online to promote the image of the complex. My personal recommendation is definitely not to move into the preserve.
