Having owned a house for 23 years I was dreading the thought of moving into an apartment when I moved to Tallahassee. I was more than just pleasantly surprised. The apartment is spacious and well laid out, true it is not the finest construction or appliances, but everything works perfectly. I had 1 blind that did not work properly in the living room and I mentioned it to the maintenance guy on one the pest spraying rounds. He was back that afternoon and replaced ALL the blinds in the living room. I occasionally hear the kids upstairs if they get a little rambunctious and when they vacuum upstairs. That is it for noise. I have been here for about a year and not experienced any of the things some people were complaining about. They have a great pool and exercise facility that is always well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, and my granddaughter loves the playgrounds. My only complaint is the few inconsiderate people that won t pick up messes after their dogs. I have never had a problem with the staff, never heard loud parties, and never had a problem with the apartment. It is quiet, peaceful, and a beautiful view of the woods out my living room windows. I would highly recommend The Reserve at Heritage Oaks!

Update on 8/2007:
We just built a house and moved this week. The last year was as good as the first. I will miss my neighbors and the pool :-)
Almost 2 years to the day and never an issue. Still Highly recommended!

I agree with zork. Those meds the docs have you on sound great. Can I have some? Maybe then I can leave in this 'peaceful' la-la land myself instead of this crappy place from hell.
