I Am Suprised People Don't Love it here

I moved into the Reserve in October of 06 and as of yet I do not have one single thing to complain about. I recently lived on the college side of town for two years and had bad parking problems (especially if I had company over), rude people, and loud parties all days of the week and all times of the night. Moving to the Reserve was the best move I have ever made when it comes to Apartments. I have not had a single thing mess up or break and not one bad experience. Yes the rent is high but only slightly more than what I was paying for to live in a crappy apartment or townhouse in the college side of town. I have mostly families around me and I have not had one had a single night where there were people being too loud. Maybe it is because I have lived in places so bad that I think this place is great but it is the first place I have actually thought I could live in and be happy for a few years. I was by myself until I just got married in March of 07 and my husband loves it as well. There are no parking problems and I have not had any problems where I have had to deal with office staff. If parties and single college student are what you are looking for this is not the place. If you want a relaxing family environment with friendly neighbors this is the place to be. Maybe my building in phase two is just the nicest building in the Reserve but I would recommend the place to anyone that wants to get away from the party life and have a little peace and quiet. Management should not be any problem for you as long as you pay your rent on time and follow the rules that are in you lease. That is why they are there after all.

come to phase 1... spend a week. you will sing a different tune. all hours of the day and night there is loud traffic on the stairs, in the pool etc. the sprinkler fixtures are coming out of the ceiling. the walls are paper thin. they no longer do indoor pest control so everytime you get a move in/out near you, expect bugs. the smoke alarms in my flat go off for no apparent reason even with new batteries. they NEVER clean the breezeways outside the units. there's dog crap EVERYWHERE outside. the pool looks grotty half the time.... all in all i cant wait for my lease to expire in a month. oh and every foul stink in your neighbor's unit will find its way into yours (ie garlic sausage).

Seriously, why no one has sued this place is beyond me. I lived there for four months and then broke my lease it was so bad. The staff treat you like gum on the bottom of their shoe and they LIE about everything. If you move in here, it is going to be a nightmare for you. They wouldn't let me move in until I signed a paper saying that the apartment was in great shape. I refused because the carpet was stained and the counters were all scratched up. Even though I didn't sign the paper, they still charged me for the "damages" even though they knew I wasn't responsible. HORRIBLE PEOPLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Get rid of Shannon.

1. your lease says you cannot sue the management, the staff, or etc for anything and opt for arbitration.. you cannot sue for anything period. 2. that piece of paper you sign before taking the apt is a pre-leasing inspection form. on it YOU note everything that is damaged, dirty or otherwise not right about the apartment BEFORE YOU SIGN THE LEASE. it serves as your proof because it is noted in the presence of the person who walked you through the apartment, of its condition. it is a legal document that keeps management from holding you responsible for things you did not do. if you signed it as 'everythings fine' then you are screwed and you did it to yourself so stop whining.
yes the place sucks. yes the management at the top levels is terrible. yes the condition of the apartments is average at best. do i what i did and leave.
