I was shown a model apartment and absolutely loved it... They don't let you REALLY see everything.

I requested to have the bedroom in the back, on the side with the larger bathroom.. They put me with 3 roommates who knew each other already, and stuck me in the exact opposite bedroom from what I requested, which actually has a utility closet inside it and has had roaches crawl out of it.


When I moved in, my four boxes didn't fit in my room all together while I unpacked. My room is MUCH smaller than i was supposed to get. The room is 9' by 9'! There were bright red stains all over my carpet, and the carpet in the entrance way was NASTY. The furniture doesn't fit in the room very well, so I'm constantly moving it around to try and make things fit better.

One day I was napping between classes and woke up to my roommate trying to get my attention... I was SLEEPING and there was a large man in my room working on the utility closet because of a problem with our water heater leaking to the apartment downstairs. The guy didn't bother to wake me up and was NOT wearing any official maintenance shirt.

The parking is horrible. I had to pay for my decal, and even so they oversold decals. So if you ever get back after 12 or so, you'll have to park in visitor (Good luck with that, too). My friends can never visit because there isn't enough visitor parking.

The "grill", which always had a hole in the bottom so you had to cover it with foil before laying down charcoal, was knocked off its stand months ago, so now there's been a rusty pole sticking out of the ground since.

They put me with roommates I absolutely hate with their "wonderful roommate matching". One whines all the time and never leaves, leaves TV, lights, air, and heat on when she leaves, and another shouldn't have been approved to live here anyway, because she can't afford it, and pays me utilities WAY late.
All in all, I hate this place.
