We've lived here for 2 years and this place is horrible in all aspects. The entire apartment is falling apart and old. The carpet is bleached by the sliding glass door because it's so old. The carpet was supposed to be cleaned before moving in but it was quite apparent that the carpet was filthy. There is no padding under the carpet so it's like walking on concrete. Almost all of the floors squeak. The apartments are "cleaned" before moving in, which is a total joke. We had to clean the apartment before moving in because there were cobwebs everywhere and the kitchen and bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in years. BEWARE! The lease includes a mold warning..take this seriously. We had mold within a few months of moving in and were told that it was because we took showers with the door closed. This is an ongoing issue in several apartments here. Our bedroom downstairs windows leaked during storms and furniture was ruined because of it. The maintenance guy came out and did his best to fix the problem but just recently we had to destroy the screen in order to get the waterfall of water to stop during a rain storm. The air conditioners are so old in these units they are not even being made anymore. They are so small and inefficient there is no air flow upstairs and the bills are ridiculous. What they don't tell you is that you are billed by the apartment for your water use. Doesn't sound bad until you do some research and actually discover that you aren't paying for your ACTUAL use..but it's being calculated by the person, number of bedrooms and split among all of the apartments. Our bill has been running between $60-$85 and we have 2 people living here full time. When people complain about it..nothing gets done and we are told that's how it is..so beware and realize that your rent price isn't going to cover the water bill. The apartments are NOWHERE near the square footage as they are claiming. The 2/2 is around 900 liveable space NOT the 1250 they are claiming. There is no closet space in here because out of the four non bedroom closets, one closet houses the hot water heater and the other one has the a/c unit. The appliances in the apartments are old and failing. The oven in our unit, although we've complained about the tempature not being correct nothing has been done. It's about 100 degrees hotter than you set it for. There have been issues with a resident that is not on the lease threatening multiple residents and the manager has given him several months to "correct" his behavior and now he has been told that if he will just leave the premises by the end of this month that he won't be liable for the past rent. The police have been called on 2 seperate occasions as well as 2 other reports filed against him and the managers answer was to ban him from going to the office. There is supposed to be a fine for animal owners not picking up their dog's poop, but no fines are ever handed out. The manager placed a trash can in the middle of the complex but moved it to the back of the complex in order to encourage people there to pick it up. It hasn't worked and no matter how many times reports are made to the manager no fines are given. The parking situation is horrible as well. The management added 5 visitor parking spaces for the entire complex. That lasted all of a few months because they took several of them to build a shed in that area. If you call and complain to the towing company about cars that don't belong here you get nowhere. The office here just recently got visitors passes..which they didn't inform anyone of. The water is periodically shut off with little notice. There was one time they had about 6 leaks and the water was off for almost 6 hours. The joke of laundry facilities are horrible. THe dryers don't work half the time and instead of fixing them they simply increased the price of each machine. The laundry room itself is always filthy even though they pay someone to come in and clean it. If you want to live with peace of mind..DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I completely agree. I've lived here for a year and it's utter garbage. The managers do not care about their tenants and do not do anything to help solve your problems. Atleast twice a month I have maitenance issues and when they finally do "fixed" it is jerry-rigged so a month down the line I need it "fixed" again. Even the maintenance guy told us that he is only allowed to fix anything the cheapest way possible. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Horrible apartments indeed. Our water today was off from 10am to shortly after 7pm. Were we given notice that the water was going to be off? None. Zero.
Twice now, management has walked in without notice (once while my wife was taking a shower), despite Florida requiring that landlords give proper / reasonable notice before entering premises. When confronted with this, the new manager, Ben told us that they did give out notice. He's said this each time this has occured. Of course, each time, coincidently, each time, we never received said notice.
About the only good aspect of this property is the Maintenance man, Charles. While grubby and typical of a maintenance guy, he does honestly try, but they obviously don't give him much to work with, so he does what he can.
