DO NOT let the staff fool you! First impressions are always the best, but NOT the most realistic! The model looked great, the staff was very accommodating and the grounds looked good (from a distance). We moved into our apartment in August and it was filthy! Not to mention that they didn't have half the areas/items on our move-in checklist to report it as damaged. The model apartment is in FAR better shape than the one you'll move in to. The furniture is dirty and pretty worn. Aside from the morbid misrepresentation of their facilities, they told my roommate and I that we could have an apartment in the front of the complex, that the gate was only temporarily down and that we could be on the bottom floor. We're in the back of the complex (next to the housing projects!) on the THIRD floor. Also, the gate rarely ever works. So much for a gated community! The club house really is their selling point. What they don't show you is the dog crap, cigarette butts and tenant's trash all over the grounds! They don't keep up with the grounds beyond what is visible to the eyes of "future residents." The other thing they don't tell you is that the internet NEVER works! I have to drive to businesses with WiFi to finish my homework assignments! Also, the maintenance staff is very friendly, but there are too few of them! It takes a couple weeks to get anything done. It hasn't happened to us (yet) but almost everyone I've met here has had their A/C go out for days at a time! As for their promises as "new management" goes, they switch management and fire and hire employees every few months! Why not make promises if you won't have enough time to follow through with them' As far as the parking goes, it's nice not to have assigned spaces. However, it is not nice to walk by your neighbor's car that has been egged or hear gunshots while you're walking up to your apartment! This place is NOT the place to rent. You get what you pay for! Whoever has given good reviews for this place is either management staff themselves or they have NO standard for living.
