I don't have enough of space to explain all of the awful things about this apartment complex. I agree with every comment that has been made about this place. Do not believe anything the staff tells you. They are definitely the rudest people I have ever dealt with. From the office staff to the Regional Manager, Diana Trussell. Rude is an understatement. And don't bother calling the main office in California, they do not care what is going on in Tallahassee at University Heights except the fact they want their money every month.

When you first look at the place, you think you are getting a good deal for all they offer. Believe me, what you get and what they offer are not the same thing. Before you sign the contract, they are so nice. Once you move in, it becomes a nightmare. Maintenance issues are never resolved. You can request many times but nothing is ever repaired. They will tell you for a while in a couple of days until that doesn't work, then they tell you they are having financial problems and haven't been able to pay their vendors. But of course, rent is due on the 1st...don't be late. I can't tell you enough...DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Consider yourself warned...rent at your own risk. Oh, and don't do roommate matching. That is a joke. Gates will work during the time they are signing new leases. You feel real secure. You move in and they magically stop working. They will tell you the "amenities offered are not guaranteed" but rent is due on the 1st....don't be late. Apartments are in desperate need of maintenance. Everytime I go in the front office, someone is screaming at the office staff about maintenance issues. I set up my web cam to see if anyone was coming in my apt. because I noticed dirt on my carpet. I caught people coming in and asked front office and they said it was maintenance. Funny, nothing was repaired. I really didn't feel safe after that. They hire residents to help with the maintenance, but apparently they just use their keys to see if they may want something out of your apartment or scope it out. Who knows, I just know nothing had been repaired. Most of the time the staff just rolls their eyes or is just out right rude. You see the model and think, not too bad. Believe me, what you get is horrible. Was not clean. Hair all in bathroom and kitchen. Gross is all I can say. Carpet must not have been vaccumed in a year. Filled up a vaccume canister in one cleaning of the apartment! Furniture package is awful. I would not dream of sitting on the couch they provide. Stains and who knows what else was on it. I could go on, but you should have the idea by now. Just know, sometimes a good deal is not a good deal. If you don't believe me, stop a few of the residents before you sign.
