I moved into an apartment with pubes in the tub, roaches all over the floor, and filth and grime every where. This is my minor complaint. There were blood stains on my couch (I have a furnished apartment) and when I told the manager, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked her to REPLACE the cushion or even put gloves on and bring sanitation equipment to just CLEAN them (since I don't have biohazard gloves) and she STILL hasn't...over 6 months later. I get woken up by my neighbors' alarm clock and I hear the douche talking and coughing every single night since August 2008. Right now, I here people outside playing horse shoes and I am unable to study because of their talking and yelling (that's how thin the walls are). I get woken up EVERY SINGLE NIGHT since August 2008 when I moved in to the train, the trash truck that picks up trash at either 3am or 5 am every single week, or a tow truck picking up some cars around the complex. I have not gotten ONE decent night of sleep. I pay $775 a month, plus $80 electricity, plus $20 water...all because I thought I would get clean and quiet. WRONG. It was filthy and is only clean because my parents stayed here for 2 days helping me scrub the entire place up and down. It is DEFINITELY not quiet either! The fitness "center" yea right! More like CORNER. It includes ONE treadmill, ONE bike, a few weights, and ONE elliptical machine. That is it. Why advertise that you have something when you really don't' I am definitely moving out of this complex. I am a graduate student and wanted a single bedroom apartment where I could study in quiet. I am unable to study for an exam right now, due to some fat guys outside yelling "what the f***" pertaining to their horseshoe game. Other days I hear them yelling about football games they play out on the grass. I don't care what people do, as long as I can't hear them....it is absolutely ridiculous that I hear these people outside as if they were in my ROOM! Absolutely do not stay here. The rent is RIDICULOUS....and you get NO amenities, the apartments are filthy, the management are fat ------- and are rude as hell, and you are basically throwing away your money to live in a paper apartment. Oh, and visitor spots include one little gravel parking lot over a block away. You don't even have to have a "Villa Cristina" visitor tag to park there! So it fills up quickly (only about 6 cars can fit there). When my boyfriend came down, the parking lot was full, so we went to Venetian Villas visitor spots across the street, and he got TOWED in the morning! He was CLEARLY in a visitor spot, but was towed anyway! The towing company said "there are black out days where the visitor spots are no longer visitor spots on certain days...even if they are clearly labeled." What the....'' That makes no sense. This whole town is run by idiots and I can't wait to leave!

Wow! At last, someone who feels just like me. I thought I was the only graduate student leaving in a horrible place. The next door apartment also has an alarm clock that wakes me up at inopportune times and you can clearly hear what they are saying next door. Plus the management-if you can even call them that-are from another planet: They should take some lessons in how to deal and interact with people. Everything you said in this review is TRUE and has happened to me and my roommate. You should try Spanish Oaks if you considering another lease in the future. I have a friend there whose apartment seems quiet every time I visit...at least the walls are thicker.

I believe that all student housing solution apartments are ran poorly. I stay in another apartment complex by the same company and the things that have been mention in this review is the same thing me and my roommate is experiencing. I am a law student, and I have a lot of studying to do and I always here people out side my window screaming and playing football in the parking lot. Our place was dirty when we moved in and we had to clean it ourselves. I do not think that it is fair for them to false advertise the apartments that are suppose to feel like home away from home. They charge so much in rent and expect you to pay on time, yet they do not feel that cleaning the apartment and getting rid of bugs is a priority for their tenants. I am honestly thinking about calling the housing authority and making a case because this is just unbelievable.
