I've lived at Villa Christina for almost two years now and don't have any major complaints. It's not perfect but in my mind its pretty good for student housing. The pros of living here: the area in general is fairly quiet(let's face it people this is a college town with college students), it's clean, was renovated not too long ago(in comparison to a lot of places out there), the maintenance guy is friendly and seems to get the work done, and they include a washer and dryer. My only sources of annoyance are: visitor parking (solved mostly by the gravel lot), some of the staff are a little annoying/useless (but you can always ask to speak to someone in charge/who can actually help), and it is on the pricey side. As for noisy neighbors, I've lived in a number of apartments, and it seems pretty typical. Yes if you're neighbor is yelling you'll hear it and maybe the occasional slamming of kitchen cabinets or alarm clock placed against the wall. But unless you're super sensitive to noise, generally it's all pretty ignorable.
Don't expect perfection, but its a pretty nice place to live.
