I lived there for a year, beginning when it was called Alta Key, then it was Aluna Key, then it turned into Grand Key before I left. I actually really loved the apartment itself although it was overpriced for a small 1 bedroom, and I lived on the 4th floor with no elevator. Even though it was a lot of exercise, I was in the best shape of my life! :) The place is beautiful and I loved the pool area. BUT, I must say, whoever bought that place and turned it into condos "GRAND KEY" made a huge mistake with who they made the general manager. I forget his name but he was SUCH A JERK. I could actually think of better words to fit him but I'll try to be an adult. Anyway, there was a promotion regarding giving notice to move out (because they were anxious to get everyone out of there who was renting, of course, so they could sell the units. The promotion was giving a discount off your next months rent, and I had given my notice the day before. I called and talked to one of the girls in the office who said it would be fine. WELL, the horrible cocky mean guy in charge refused to give me the discount, even though it was promised to me. He didn't care about me at all, because the only thing he could see were dollar signs in people's eyes. What a jerk. I was sooooooooo upset and I would not recommend buying a condo there simply to avoid having to deal with him.
