When I lived at the Amberton Apts., life wasn't too bad. Granted there was a drug bust or raid across the street on a daily basis, but if you could deal with that, it was fine. However, 5 years after I moved out, there was suddenly a mark against my credit from Amberton. I tried to find out what it was all about and have been given the run around ever since. They refuse to show me ANY documented proof that I owe them anything, claiming that it was so long ago that they can not find the record. But, they refuse to clear my credit until I pay them this unknown amount. Catch 22 ring a bell' They can't tell me what to pay them (or prove I owe them anything) but hold me in bad credit until I pay them. Sigh.....stay FAR away from this place.
