Hello My name is Joy Jennings and I have been the community manager for a little over five years. I would like to address some of the comments thats been directed at Andover Club Apartments as well as myself. I have always tried to do my job to the best of my ability, and asked the same of my staff. Any concerns that residents have is a priority for the entire staff at Andover Club the office staff might be the first to know of it, but it takes the whole staff to ensure that the problem or situation was taken care of to everyone satifaction. If we do not know a problem exists, then the is nothing we can do about it. As far as staff changes go, I am a person of stabilty and so are the new owners of Andover Club. If any staff members move on by choice or force it is the duty of the owner, management company, and the manager to hire the best canidate to fit the community as well as the team. I have tried my best to provide the residents of Andover Club with honest, hard working, and delicated staff. If someone spoke with anyone of my staff members and there concerns were not taken care of to their satifaction, I have always had a open door policy, I am fully aware that part of my job is to make sure everyone else on my team does there. I would love to promise that every work order will be done within a 24 hr or less time period, but I do not give promises I cannot keep. There are so many scenerios that can happen i.e. parts not in stock, default is the resident, item on back order, or the need for an outside contractor. I love my job because everyday brings someone or something different.
The comments that our office is closed or never open is a personal insult to me. Not to get to personnel or give any negativity undo light, I eat lunch very late in the day to make sure that if anyone needs to speak to me on theirs I'm avalible. Seven out of ten times you will find me walking around after business hours. In the second half of last year I lost my mother that took care of me my entire life, and I showed her my love and appreciation by returning the same unconditonal love and care for her in final year. If anyone felt short change or that I was not there for them or my staff, I am truly sorry for any an all inconviences from the bottom of my heart, but my heart was elsewhere. I know that the majority of the residents know that if there is anything "Joy" can do to help you, whether its your apartment or job, things to do in or around Tampa I will, but I guess the old cliche is true "you can't make everybody happy" but I still try.
I know Andover Club Apartments is a great place to live and work, there are several resident who has lived there for over 5, 10, and 15 years. Everyone has their own opinion of whats good for them and their families, I asked that you see for yourself and make you own judgement regarding Andover Club Apartments. I know everyone of the residents that lived there now, and remember all thats have left. I can make one promise to anyone who lives or open the office door at Andover Club Apartments I will personally do my best to help you in any way I can.
