My leasing agent NEVER returned any of my calls. She failed to follow up on my references. I have a credit score in the 800's, moving into Tampa from another state and she dragged her feet until the last minute to get my apartment.

The office staff is less than accommodating, even rude. They have lost my package deliveries and when I inquire as to why I was never notified that I received a package, they said it is not there problem and I should talk to the sender.

The apartment had glue prints in the shape of a workman's boot on all the linoleum and it could not be removed. Parking is OUT OF CONTROL, cars blocking fire lanes and a security gate that is broken or driven around because it will not open.

When the management wants to perform maintenance on the unit, they give you 24 hrs notice. They know weeks if not months ahead that they are going to replace all the sprinkler heads in the building. Is it too much to ask that they tell the residents more than 24 hours ahead' If you ask them to fix a problem, you will not see them for a week.

When I turned in my 30 day notice to leave the apartment, six weeks ahead of time, they failed to tell me they were closed on the moveout day. They refused to stay 5 minutes late on the following day to do a walk through with me as I was out of town and had to dive 50 miles to get there in traffic. But, they would do a walk through if I paid another day of rent and came back taking time off work.

I would like to think that the management of an apartment complex would understand that the renters LIVE there, they should be treated with kindness and understanding. All too often, like Andover Place, we are just revenue sources. Nothing more.
