My boyfriend and I have lived here for a little over a year and unfortunately we have a room close to the main pool. Let me tell you that this was the worst thing you could possibly do...it has been the source of many sleepless nights. The pool rules are not enforced. One night three car loads of young people (I'm young too so this term is relative and relates to maturity and consideration) decided to have a pool party at 1 am. I called the security officer number and she came quickly, but nothing has been done to prevent or monitor the pool hours from getting out of hand on a regular basis. Listening to people doing canonballs, girls squealing and screaming while you're laying in bed thinking about what time you need to wake up is infuriating. I have become the purveyer of pool hours now where I must call the apartment security officer when another midnight party begins.
Also, there do seem to be an awful lot of young college age people around more often, sitting in the hot tub, leaving beer bottles all over the pool area, having midnight make-out sessions in the pool (people, we can all see you from here and we can tell you are having sex). It's disgusting. USF is over in Temple Terrace, and I'm sure Fontana Hall would cater to the insensitive, over-sexed, self-absorbed life styles of you and your cohort.
