Why are the longterm residents moving out like the proverbial rats from a ship.
Recent favorable responses are undoubtedly engineered, as a longterm resident one has constant contact with residents over a period of years..and most are highly unhappy. After the initial condo conversion 200 residents moved out, fromn that point the complex never recovered with many empty units visible driving around the place and feedback from now ex employees who often remarked 'get out asap'
When management is asked re the quality of chnage in resident move ins they remark 'We have nothing to do with it..they're all private lettings'
I personally know of four who moved because of cockroach invasion...plus a further two who moved from the first floor upwards to avoid the investations]
New residents moving in are invariably given a reduced rate over existing..again 'Nothing we have control over' Its obvious the instruction has been to fill at all costs.
If you are longterm resident and decide to make your voice heard make no mistake they will engineer a scenario to where it is impossible to leave. This of course they dont mind, money made on ap fees and deposits..plus remuneration from 'looking after' owned units. Hey, who wouldnt like to make money from 20 ap fees knowing 19 would be refused.
As far as 'quiet'..thats bs. We are definately now full of skateboarders, party animals and late night goings on [check on the Sheriffs web site and find how many times visits have been made here, even Swat teams not so long ago] Six units broken into in one day, 9 cars broken into in one day.Ask yourself why if this complex is so secure and 'nice' they have now employed a private security company to patrol [who by the way never leave their vehicle]
Ask yourself would anybody really take the time to post a negative response just for the fun of it. I like many was used to favorable remarks when telling people I lived at Arbors, now its 'Oh dear you dont live there do you..man has that gone down.
One of my longterm resindent friends has just left, they decided to buy and, dealing with realty people the response was always that yes, at one time it was desirable but now its reputation very negative. Constant management and staff changes should tell you something.
Do yourself a favor and stay away

Very good observations. Why are we all bailing out of this sinking ship? I can't wait to get out of here!!!!!! I'm moving out as soon as my lease is up.
