Most of the maintenance there is done by one ornery old man who has this philosophy that if you aren't best buddies with him and his group of friends, you can wait for the cows to come home before actually getting any assistance. They are stupid when it comes to that. Before I moved out, my a/c unit had begun to leak and was ruining the carpet. I told the office, and in the two weeks before I moved, my carpet was one giant puddle because the maintenance man didn't feel like coming over to my apartment. Then they had the nerve to bill ME for the water damage. Not to mention, there is no security guard, cars are constantly being stolen by kids who sneak in through the holes in the fences. And they do nothing about neighbors that blast music at 3am. Also, the laundry rooms were a nightmare! they were poorly lit, and the glass and doors were often broken out. Half the machines never worked. It was downright scary to make your way through the complex after dark. More often than not, the outside lights were broken/off.
