I am realizing that the residents here would rather live in a dump and have no rules enforced than to live in a really nice place and have the rules enforced. I have to say that the Management Staff have been very accomadating to all the residents at Ashford Place. This place was a dump just over a year ago and these people can't even appreciate the fact that the owners are spending millions of dollars to renovate the place. They have repainted the buildings, replaced the roofs, installed new decks & a/c's decks, new stair landings, repaved both pools, put new a/c's, putting new vinyl and coutertops, kitchen cabinets, new lighting fixtures, and new appliances in the inside of the units. The sewage backup is nothing that they could have prevented. People put diapers, tampons, pads, dreadlocks & hair down the drains. I really appreciate what they are doing for the community and the area!!! It s definatly rasing the property values of the homes in the back of the community.

I AM TIRED OF HEREING WHAT IGNORANT RESIDENTS STATE ABOUT ASHFORD. The management does not accepted Section 8. As far as the pools, its the residents who allow their children to destroy the property. The firdt day it was opened, they destroyed it. They are going to relandscape the community and i recieved notice that the management company has hired CIS. Like I said, there are residents who appreciate what they are doing and then they are residents who like to live in dump like it was over a year ago.

The managment can keep throwing money at the problems but until they keep the kick the trash section 8 residents out the place will continue to look like a third world country that it has become. It is still to dangerous to do laundry by yourself, the pool is nasty and the play ground has as much broken glass as sand!

Hi, could you please direct me to where I can purchase the crack you are obviously smoking... I moved into the Remington Apts back in Nov of 1997 - I chose it because it was clean, quiet, and well maintained. When I needed to have something repaired the office used to ask when was a good time to come by and then leave a little note on your counter which said "you mean a mint to us" along with mints. Then when the manager Peggy Pumphrey left, all hell broke loose. I stuck with them through 7 or 8 or even 9 management changes (i've lost count). I have endured MICE, FLOODS, BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING UNITS, TERMITES, DRUNKEN NEIGHBORS, FIGHTING NEIGHBORS, CARJACKING, 3 STOLEN CARS - shall I go on?... We finally moved last year and have never looked back. For those of you who've decided to stay on - my prayers are with you....
