In reading the comments I have read I find that for the most part all the past tenants have either not followed the properties policies resulting in bashing the company, or you have been put out of your apartment for one readon or another. A good chance you didn't pay your apartment payment.
I have been a tenant at Ashford Place for 2 years now and find it a nice place to live. I plan on living here till I am able to buy a house. I agree with a few things mentioned such as I can't always park at my front door, and the gates need a guard at them to allow and not to allow people that do not live here. The gates do break but you that have nothing good to say are no dought the ones that hit it with your car or throw it off balance. The truth of the matter is that you can't afford anything any nicer and you are angry with yourself. The office is very nice and always has been through my stay. I do agree that sometimes the maintenance side is short of workers but who aint. I guess they are selective who they hire to enter your apartment. The Office staff is always on top of things You should be glad of this. In closing I will add that I think Ashford Place is a better place with out your sorry selves, and I along with others are glad your gone! Goodbye! People like yourself will never be happy! I will pray for you...
And to you that want a affordable, nice place to live, come join your neighbors at Ashford Place

I agree with berth1! There are so many nice places why stay in a dump unless it is a step up from your trailer maybe? My husband had lived there for a year but after I moved in I told him we had to move ASAP. The place was dangerous, the staff a joke and being sold time and time again was not helping. Security? Do you mean the gate that never worked or the holes cut in the fence? Oh, maybe the really bad response time when calling 911 because even the cops are sick of going there? The laundry rooms were too dark and nasty to even think of going near after dark (when they even worked or the door glass was not busted out again) and the fact that most of the tenants are Section 8, no criminal checks were done, and that 8 people are allowed to live in a two bedroom apt make it a not very nice place...but if that is ok for you more power to ya.

You're funny - I lived there for 10 years - I didn't move because I really didn't want to deal with the hassle of moving as I had children and liked the conveniences of the area: highway, shopping, healthcare. I've been through many management changes each one asking me to hang in there as the best was yet to come. However, it only got worse - 3 times we had cars stolen, we've had drunken neighbors, the children's play area went to pot, we've had mice, and the termite infestation was HORRIBLE. Whenever we needed repairs it would takes weeks and at times months to get someone to fix the problem. Numerous times we would speak to management regarding a situation and then follow up only to find out that they had no record whatsoever of the issue. Please bear in mind that I was not evicted and moved to a bigger apartment which costs more, but comes with it's own washer and dryer, is clean, has a fitness center with equipment which works, has children's play areas with working swings, slides, monkey bars, etc.; has fans in every room, has a media center for residents, a pool and spa which is cleaned every day, a barbecue area. Each unit is equipped with sprinkler system and some have fire places. I could go on... Oh, did I mention that their maintenance staff of four comes to do repairs ON THE SAME DAY THEY ARE CALLED and follow up to make sure the problem is truly fixed, if not they escalate it and bring in specialists such as electricians. Our security gates ALWAYS WORK and no one can walk onto the property unless they have their security card to swipe in with. When the a car passes through, the bar really comes down immediately to prevent tailgaiting. If you feel that where you're at is so wonderful, then that's a beautiful thing, but you shouldn't sell yourself short - there is better out there and the cost is not much more. Don't assume that people are exaggerating or broke... Don't pray for me, honey, I am very happy where I'm at and am very satisfied and have learned that quality can (and should) go along with affordable. As a matter of fact, I signed a new lease here and they lowered (not raised) my rent. Have a good day

good luck to you "Anonymous" because you are full of it. i agree with the past two responses. i lived there 2 years and had nothing but problems from about a year on. each time management changed, it got worse. i lived there for college and it was cheap, after i graduated i made sure i moved away because it was not worth it. don't waste anymore rent money; leave now and move to another place because the Ashford Place staff is a joke, the gym is horrible, and dont get me started on the laundry room. ASHFORD PLACE IS HORRIBLE, AND SHOULD BE CONDEMNED. no matter how much paint you put on it, AP is still a rundown, crappy facility! so again, good luck "Anonymous" ... think about why AP has a 22% rating?!
