I wouldn't recommend...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I've lived here for about a year now and while the place finally has grass and mulch instead of sand... I have a number of complaints.
The office staff is a nightmare to deal with. Only a couple can understand you when you speak to them (unless you speak spanish) and they rarely pass along notices of maintenance requests. I've noticed a few people saying that the maintenance group here is horrible, its not them, its the office. We had a problem where our door frame didn't seal correctly, after 2 months of dealing with the office I finally passed a maintenance man outside and spoke with him about it, they had been told by the office that the problem was resolved and they were no longer needed over here. I walked him to my apartment and showed him the huge gap and they had people out the next day working on it. A similar thing happened when the guy who had lived above us moved out and left the bathtub running and our bathroom ceiling began to mold. Maintenance got out here when I spoke to them personally, and said the office had told them "it had been handled." I also found that many times the office staff would send them to the WRONG apartment building and number, even though I submitted a hand written request.
The size of the apartments themselves are nice, and they don't look too bad inside. You can almost fit a bed in the closet. But for the crap you have to deal with concerning office staff and the horrendous termite problems in the summer.... it's not worth it.
Oh, also... don't ever bother calling the emergency maintenance line. We called when our apartment was flooding from the kitchen sink and no one got back with us, we actually had to fix it ourselves.
