*DISCLAIMER* - I don't hate ALL young people (I'm in my early 20's) or people who work at apartment complexes - just the ones here!

Don't move here just because it's convinient to downtown - I did and now I want to melt away!

The office staff is RUDE and unresponsive. They don't care WHAT happenes at this complex! The first time I told them of a noise problem - they acted like they couldn't beleive it. Oh, not here in the middle of classy Town N' Country (that's sarcasm).

This apartment complex houses students for the Academy of Design which is down the street - oh, but they don't tell you that when you move in here! They show you the OTHER side of the complex.

I moved into a one bedroom and I guess that's where all the students live. I have nothing against college students but LOUD AND RUDE students who REFUSE to act like adults are all you will find here. I think they recruit them from a detention center!

CONSTANT blaring car stereos - day and night! If I were to read this before I moved in here I'd think I was exagerating - but drive through this complex BEFORE you think about signing a lease - and PLEASE drive through on a Monday night (or any week/weekend night for that matter) and listen to the wonderful dualing stereo contests and watch the young men and women put on a firework show for you.

Also be sure and sign in with the gaurd - oh wait, where is he tongiht'!'!'! The lights are on in the gaurd house but if you sit by it for up to an HOUR he will not return! No wonder he never picks up the phone!

Once you're here, be sure and call the front office staff and let them know that you have a problem with the booming car stereos (yes, it even happens during office hours in the middle of the day!)! They will promptly tell you that either they can do nothing about it or that they don't have time to deal with it. YES - they will actually say that. How do I know - because that is what the young lady said to me this last Saturday!

And psssst - this is PRIVATE PROPERTY and I PAY PHREAKIN' RENT - you can SURE tell them to be quiet.

Oh yeah, and don't even bother moving into ANY property owned by Equity Residential! I have TOLD THEM ALL OF THIS before writing up this complaint. I wrote to the main Tampa office AND the main corporate office in Chicago. The only person that called me was the GAURD from this complex. I DIDN'T WRITE HIM A LETTER! How's that for respecting the tenants'

Woooo - Sorry to go off like that. I just really hate it here.

So, in closing, if you don't like listening to 4 different car stereos at once from 3pm and on, having fireworks shows put on for you in the lot where your car is parked and looking at nice SPRAY PAINT ART on the stop signs and such - DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Feel free to write me if you have questions OR if you disagree with what I've stated. All you have to do is drive through near buildings 12, 13 and 14 and you'll see how great apartment living WON'T BE IF YOU MOVE HERE!
