Don't Move Here

Audubon Village is said to be on a Nature Preserve, but that is not the case. This place sucks.
My walls vibrate from neighbors' stereos and outside cars/trucks...Fireworks have been going off all night. On more than one occasion, I've seen the guard (who's supposed to be working) at the Pub across the street.
They took away the recycling bins about a year ago. The "work-out" facilities, while small, might be do-able -- but only if you enjoy working out to LOUD rap music. Ditto for the pool. I sit with my laundry because I've noticed sketchy characters eyeing the laundry rooms. I wish I could watch my car all night.
Interacting with the office staff in any manner is frustrating -- even to pick up a package in their mail room.
Apparently, students at the Academy of Art & Design do not need to study or work in any manner, while I try to work full-time, attend graduate school and study. This is the wrong place to live.
I'm counting the days until my lease is up -- and look forward to improving the quality of life.
